The price of repairs may cost at least $50 or even up to $1,500, depending on the severity of the problem. Insurance would not always be a solution since your provider may not cover some services.

The next best thing to do would require you to look for a professional auto mechanic, in case you decide not to include certain damages under your insurance plan.

Common repairs

Bumper repairs may easily cost several hundred dollars. In some states such as Connecticut, car owners normally spend between $350 and $450 for such services. Those who need to remove scratched paint would likely spend from $1,000 to $3,500 if the entire side your car is the problem. Take note that the cost may be more or less expensive based on the type of your vehicle.

If you live in Arizona, it may be a better idea to pay for repairs instead of buying a new car, as the cost of registration would soon be more expensive. In Mesa, headlight restoration or fixing dents should be better left to a professional to avoid doing more damage to your vehicle.

Higher registration fees

Those who plan to buy a new car in Arizona should think twice if they really need one, following the approval of a bill that calls for a levy on registration fees. The proposal requires an $18.06 tax for each car registration. By 2020, the levy will increase depending on the vehicle’s price.

The state legislature approved the proposal to support the Arizona Department of Transportation’s fundraising plan worth almost $150 million, which would be used to repair roads and build new highways.

When choosing an auto mechanic, consider the range of services offered by a contractor. Even if you have insurance, you should just pay for minor repairs from out of your wallet instead of filing a claim.
